What We Do
Since 2008, we have helped lead efforts to permanently protect historic homes in Wilson County and have been at the forefront of many rehabilitation projects in the historic community.
Our Mission
“Preservation of Wilson provides leadership in the revitalization efforts of Wilson County’s unique architectural heritage. As stewards of Wilson’s historic buildings, we actively promote historic, architectural, and culturally significant properties. Our efforts are to ensure that revitalized properties will contribute in the aesthetics of the community, increase the value of surrounding properties, and create a safe and welcoming environment.”
“With just a single stroll down historic Nash street, one gets a sense of an old world gone by. Wilson is home to a vast array of architectural styles and it is up to our community to preserve these properties that bring so much charm to our historic district.” — Anne Joyner, POW Member
